Anthony Martial reacts to Manchester United's 5-0 win over LASK

Anthony Martial missed out on an opportunity to add to his tally of 16 goals for the season by sitting out the game against LASK.

He did not travel to Austria due to an injury sustained when he collided with the post in the 2-0 win over City on Sunday.

The Frenchman was nonetheless impressed with United’s dominant win.

Odion Ighalo, Dan James, Juan Mata, Mason Greenwood and Andreas Pereira all scored in the win.

Martial sent out a message congratulating the team on the win.

He also praised Odion Ighalo’s opening strike, which set the wheels in motion for United’s crushing win.

Martial is all in

It is notable to see Martial active on social media because he uses it so rarely.

In fact the last message he tweeted out about United, rather than a retweet, was back in November, and that was just a picture of him celebrating.

Earlier in the season when Martial missed several games through injury, he was quiet, and did not react to United’s results.

This enthusiasm he is showing off the pitch reflects in his performances on it. He has scored four goals in his last five starts.

He’s all in on United at the moment. That even showed in the way he got injured, putting his body on the line trying to score.

He is likely to be back involved against Tottenham this weekend providing the match goes ahead.

It looks like he can’t bear to be away from playing and just wants to be out there. That’s the Anthony Martial we have wanted to see for so long.

Rashford impressed too

Injured teammate Marcus Rashford gave his seal of approval too for United’s impressive run.

He tweeted out a photo of himself tapping the badge and nodding to the camera in reaction to a statistic about United’s last 11 matches.
