Anthony Martial has been pictured working out at home in a Manchester United shirt despite his desire to leave the club.
The French international informed interim boss Ralf Rangnick that he wanted to leave the club last month, following a conversation between the pair.
But the Reds rebuffed an approach from La Liga side Sevilla to sign Martial on loan until the end of the season.
According to The Athletic, the Europa League side had offered to pay half of Martial’s £240,000 per week wages.
But the Reds are reportedly only interested in a deal that covers his entire salary, in addition to a loan fee. It remains unclear whether Sevilla are expected to come back to United with improved terms for Martial with the January transfer window now open.
However, The Athletic claim that United are yet to make a final decision on whether or not to sanction a move for the former Monaco man.
Although it is believed that United are happy to retain the 26-year-old beyond the January transfer window if their ‘preferred terms’ are not met.

Following the defeat to Wolves on Monday, the Manchester United squad were given two days off before returning to Carrington on Thursday.
Cristiano Ronaldo has posted a picture of him training at home ahead of our FA Cup clash against Aston Villa.
Martial has also uploaded a story onto his Instagram profile which shows him wearing an old Manchester United shirt whilst cycling at home.
Martial is yet to feature under Rangnick after missing the German’s first three matches with a knee injury.
But since confirming his desire to embark on a new chapter away from Manchester United, the club’s number nine hasn’t featured in the last three matchday squads.
Martial was pictured back in training ahead of the win against Burnley, but ahead of the clash against Wolves, Rangnick stated that Martial won’t be selected while he actively pursues a move away from Old Trafford.
Although Martial is keen to secure a move away from the Theatre of Dreams, wearing a United shirt whilst training at home highlights the clear love he still has for the club.
