Manchester United are a club on the rise right now, with a return to the Champions League next season coupled with some incredible talent across the squad.
Ineos haven’t been perfect over the course of their reign at Old Trafford, but the summer of 2025 saw their transfer model change Manchester United.
All four signings have been a success for United, with Senne Lammens, Matheus Cunha, Benjamin Sesko, and Bryan Mbeumo all looking like pivotal players in the squad.
Another summer like this one and United might seriously be in a title race come May 2027. Now, Andy Mitten has heaped praise on one player in particular.
Cunha, Mbeumo and Sesko become second ever PL trio to score 10+ goals in debut season🔥
What an incredible achievement, how many goals should they each be aiming for in 2026/27?

Benjamin Sesko hailed by Andy Mitten
Sesko’s first season at United has been as good as he could have hoped, with 12 goals in all competitions despite making just 19 starts.
The Slovenian has made a huge impression at Old Trafford.
Speaking on the latest episode of Talk of the Devils, Andy Mitten has explained what he’s been hearing about Sesko.
“He’s an incredible kid, very conscientious, a true pro.
“If there’s anything he can do to improve his performances, he’ll do it. He arrives early to prepare for training; he has his routine.
“He’s ready to do anything to become a better player. He’s intelligent, very aware of his abilities. He’s fully committed.
“He has all the qualities to become an exceptional number 9 for Manchester United.
“He has speed, power, he’s effective with both feet, he’s technically sound.
“You can see him gaining confidence month after month. We’ve always known we were signing a player on the rise.”
Sum up Benjamin Sesko’s debut season for Manchester United in one word…
Sesko’s work ethic will drive him to become world-class
Since joining the club, it has become clear that Sesko is more than just an elite talent, but he has the determination to become even better.
Diogo Dalot has been a brilliant influence on Sesko, passing along the professionalism and work ethic in training that he took from Cristiano Ronaldo.
Turning up early to training, putting in extra work, and Sesko is also a sponge for information, learning from Bruno Fernandes, particularly.
This will all push Sesko forward and see him become an even better talent than he currently is.
With more games next season, he should easily break the 25-goal mark.
