Ben Foster has reacted to an important milestone that Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha have now all managed to hit for Manchester United.
Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo were three of the four major Manchester United signings that Ineos made for the Red Devils last summer.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s regime overhauled the attacking set-up for the United first-team squad while ex-Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim was still in charge at Old Trafford.
Cunha was signed from Wolves last June before Mbeumo was landed from Brentford in July 2025, while United splashed out to sign Sesko from RB Leipzig last August.

How do you predict Benjamin Sesko’s career at Manchester United will go?
It's early – but let's see your predictions!
Ben Foster rates the impact of Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha at Man Utd, despite one limitation emerging
Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha have all ensured that they have netted at least 10 times in the Premier League for Manchester United this season.
Sesko has found the net 11 times in 30 matches and Cunha has netted 10 times in 33 fixtures, while Mbeumo has scored 10 times in 32 league matches for United.
Speaking on his podcast, Ben Foster welcomed the Red Devils’ front three clicking together in their debut season at Old Trafford and reaching their goalscoring feats.
However, the former Man Utd player admitted that the Red Devils are still missing a “killer” finisher in the final third like Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.
“Very positive, yeah,” Foster said on Fozcast.
“I still do feel like they need that killer, though. Like, Sesko’s last month or six weeks or so has turned it on a bit and scored some goals.
“But I think if they still need a killer in there, real sharp, Haaland-like, just put the ball in the net.”
Cunha, Mbeumo and Sesko become second ever PL trio to score 10+ goals in debut season🔥
What an incredible achievement, how many goals should they each be aiming for in 2026/27?
Ben Foster thinks that a ‘killer’ forward could benefit Benjamin Sesko’s impact for Man Utd as well
Benjamin Sesko has seen a turnaround in form in the second half of the 2025-26 season after interim head coach Michael Carrick was appointed at United in January.
Foster admitted that a “killer” forward might bring down Sesko’s minutes, but the in-form Slovenia and United striker would equally be better off in another way.
“If they had a killer, and I think it would benefit Sesko as well,” he added.
“I mean, his playing time probably would decrease, but I think he would learn so much from him.
“But like, if you’re coming up against Man Utd, they’ve got a main striker, and when that main striker is tired out at 70 minutes, 80 minutes, or whatever, you’re bringing a Sesko on as well, like, you’re going, ‘Oh, for God’s sake, here we go.”
Senne Lammens was the fourth and final major signing that United made last summer after the arrivals of Mbeumo, Sesko and Cunha at Old Trafford.
