Amid all the transfer news and international competitions, it’d be easy to forget that Manchester United return to training on Monday.
Manchester United haven’t been in action or in training since May 25th when the club lifted the FA Cup against Manchester City.
But now, while transfer rumours persist and the international tournaments reach their quarter-final stage, club football is about to return.
United return for pre-season training on Monday, July 8th, which will see every player not involved in either the Euros or Copa America back and ready to prepare for next season.
Now, before training even begins, one player has been spotted looking very sharp already as he looks to establish himself next season.

Amad Diallo is already in training ahead of key season
Ahead of the 2023/24 season, several players have the chance to make themselves stars with the club having a reset this summer.
One player who is well placed to do so is Amad Diallo after ending the 2023/24 campaign strong, he is now catching the eye with training clips which have emerged.
As posted by the official United X account, Amad is already training hard and looks incredibly sharp despite pre-season not even having started yet.
This showcases the mentality and work rate Amad has, he knows this season is huge for him and clearly wants to be the quickest and sharpest player upon returning to Carrington, we imagine Erik ten Hag will be impressed as he looks very sharp.
Amad is in line for a huge season with United as he is now seen as a vital part of the first team and could be set for a breakout year under Ten Hag.
Amad could be in line to start the Premier League season
The ‘amazing footballer’ Amad ended the season as a key player for United, his goal and assist against Newcastle affirmed this and next season, he should begin ahead of Antony in the pecking order.
But for the Premier League opener against Fulham on the 16th of August, Amad has an incredible opportunity to start and if he does, he could retain the place from then on.
Alejandro Garnacho is probably the number one winger at the club on either side, but he’s currently at Copa America and in an Argentine team which looks like Champions Elect, therefore he might miss pre-season entirely, and not return to United until August.
This could mean that for the opener, Garnacho isn’t match fit leaving Amad to start and Marcus Rashford on the left. Although a lot of it will be settled on who performs in pre-season, which makes Amad’s early sharpness even more important.
