If Cristiano Ronaldo is both the past and the present, Amad has a chance to be the future.
While the pair have not yet linked up on the pitch together, they have been getting to know each other off it.
Ronaldo and Amad were pictured together as the squad went out for lunch in Manchester.

It was a great opportunity for the players to socialise off the pitch and get to know each other away from training.
For a young player like Amad, every second spent in Ronaldo’s company will be absolutely invaluable.

Ronaldo is well known for his ultra professional off field approach and dedication to his craft, and Amad can learn a lot from him in his own quest to reach the top.
Amad has recently returned from injury and is back in full training.
This past week he flew out to Atalanta as part of the Champions League squad.
While he was not on the bench, he did get a chance to pay a visit to his old ground and supporters.

Amad is now working away to try and force himself into United’s side.
Last weekend he featured for the under-23s and could get another appearance at this level this coming weekend.
A loan move is probable in January, while Amad also could head to the African Nations Cup with Ivory Coast.
