Manchester United youngster Amad has been one of the most eye-catching players during pre-season so far.
Amad took just 45 minutes against Rangers to demonstrate his quality, with a sensational 45 minutes against his former club.
After scoring the opening goal, Erik ten Hag praised Amad’s quality and backed him for a ‘big season’.
The Ivorian was impressive in the game against Arsenal too, with United fans praising Amad’s contribution.

Amad tries out in goal
One of Amad’s top qualities is his versatility. The young winger can play in a variety of attacking roles, even as a striker.
One position we never expected to see him in was as a goalkeeper.
That’s exactly where he was trying about, messing about during a free moment during a training session in Los Angeles during the pre-season tour.
He gave it his best efforts, diving to try and keep the ball out of the net, without success in the occasion shown below.

Amad set for starring role
Amad ended last season as one of Manchester United’s most in-form players, dazzling in a win against Newcastle.
He was unlucky not to make the starting XI for the FA Cup Final – although United won the game regardless.
Amad has returned to pre-season ready to pick up where he left off, one of the most impressive players so far, in the 90 minutes total he has played.
There are two more pre-season games upcoming against Real Betis and Liverpool, and then there is a strong chance he will get opportunity at Wembley, in the Community Shield.
Part of the challenge will be staying injury free. Amad suffered an injury last pre-season, and already on tour, Leny Yoro and Rasmus Hojlund have had injury issues.
Let’s hope all of the players can avoid problems. Perhaps throwing himself around in goal is not the smartest idea.
