Garnacho gets Alvaro Fernandez response
Alejandro Garnacho received a response from one of his former academy teammates, Alvaro Fernandez.
The duo left Madrid at the same time in 2020, Garnacho departing Atletico and Fernandez leaving Real, both seeing a future at United.
Fernandez impressed at Carrington but was sold without making a first team appearance.
The Benfica star sent a message with three fire emojis, showing his admiration for Garnacho.
Fernandez was then inundated with ‘come to United’ messages in his own replies.

Fernandez gives Garnacho thinking to do
Alvaro Fernandez left Manchester United and he has been a success at Benfica, regularly impressing in the Champions League.
His own performances at a high level demonstrate that there is life outside of Old Trafford, if Garnacho chooses to move on.
United have a buy-back option in Fernandez’s deal, and while he is under consideration, it’s not an option the club have yet taken up.
The club are pursing Lecce wing-back Patrick Dorgu instead, and it remains to be seen if this will need to be funded by Garnacho’s sale.
While some United fans would love to see Garnacho and Fernandez teaming up at the club – the prospects are looking slim right now.
