Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s exit from Manchester United to West Ham has now been confirmed by the clubs.
Five years since signing for Manchester United from Crystal Palace, Aaron Wan-Bissaka has concluded his exit, joining West Ham.
Wan-Bissaka’s sale was not one United had to make, but was one Erik ten Hag wanted to, so he could bring in his own right-back of choice.
Noussair Mazraoui is set to join from Bayern Munich as Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s replacement.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka fee
Aaron Wan-Bissaka had only one year remaining on his contract with Manchester United, which reduced the potential fee the club could have received.
West Ham paid £15 million to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Sky Sports report. This was, naturally, a loss on the £50 million the club spent to sign him from Crystal Palace.
United might consider that £35 million net spent on Wan-Bissaka across the past five seasons was ultimately worthwhile.
Wan-Bissaka won two trophies at Manchester United, playing an integral role in the two finals.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka numbers at United
Aaron Wan-Bissaka made a total of 190 appearances for Manchester United. 130 of these came in the Premier League, and he also counts 15 Champions League appearances.
Wan-Bissaka scored two goals for Manchester United, which both came in the 2020/21 season.
He was often rotated with fellow right-back Diogo Dalot, and at times even had to fill in at left-back last season, making 20 of a possible 38 league starts.
Wan-Bissaka will give Manchester United two tough games

Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, or whoever lines up on the left of United’s attack faces a tough task up against Wan-Bissaka.
United face West Ham in a fixture on October 27 at the London Stadium, which is a game which will take place on a Sunday following a Europa League game, an already tricky proposition.
Wan-Bissaka must wait to return to Old Trafford in the Premier League. Manchester United’s next home game with West Ham takes place on May 10 2025.
