United fans say Pogba should be axed after Raiola's comments
Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has lit a fire over the future of his client on the eve of a crucial game.
Pogba’s expiring contract was always looming in the background, and so Raiola’s comments to Tuttosport that the midfielder wants to leave are no surprise.
The timing of the comments is incredibly ill judged. Pogba’s future is a huge distraction now heading into this decisive Champions League tie.
United need a draw in Leipzig to secure a place in the knockout rounds of the Champions League.
RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.
What to do with Pogba becomes a huge talking point, not only for this game, but for the rest of his United tenure.
We asked the question on social media whether Pogba should ever play for United again.
Many are of the opinion he should not, unless he is prepared to distance himself from Raiola’s comments, which he has refused to do in the past.
Even with Fred out injured, United have enough options to cover Pogba if he was dropped.
The shame is that Pogba played well at the weekend in the win over West Ham and looked like he might be useful for this upcoming fixture.
What is needed are players who are 100 per cent committed. If Pogba cannot provide that, then he should be left out.
As for the Janaury transfer window, it is probably sensible to cash in if we can.
