Manchester United youngster D’Mani Mellor has begun his recovery from a torn ACL.
Mellor announced via his Instagram earlier this month that he had suffered the injury, saying he was ‘devastated’.
He also vowed to return stronger and fitter than before, and has now begun his recovery.
Mellor posted a picture on his Instagram story on Thursday of him working out at home wearing his new United training gear, with heavy strapping and a knee brace on his left leg.

A long way back
Mellor faces a year on the sidelines, if similar injury recoveries from Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Luca Ercolani are anything to go by.
Ercolani recently made his comeback in an under-23s friendly against Salford City last week, almost one year since suffering an ACL tear.
The duo can help provide support to Mellor as he looks to return for the 2021/22 season.
Mellor made his United first team debut in 2019/20 away at Astana in the Europa League.
His last under-23 appearance was on January 10, although he did feature in a friendly against Club Brugge in February.
