Now former Manchester United trainee Alex Fojticek has said his goodbyes to the club on social media.
Fojticek was among the 10 players released by United back on June 30.
The young goalkeeper signed for United back in 2016, with the Red Devils beating competition from Liverpool and Aston Villa to sign him from Tatran Presov.

Fojticek later told the club website: “When my agent told me they wanted to sign me, I was shocked and surprised. Amazed. I was really happy. I think it was the greatest moment of my life.”
Now 20, Fojticek was released and is currently searching for a new club, and sent out this message last night.
Among the players in the line up above with Fojticek are Tahith Chong and Angel Gomes, with the latter also released this summer, out of choice as his contract ran down. He has joined Lille.
Slovakian goalkeeper Fojticek spent the 2019/20 season out on loan at non-league club Stalybridge Celtic.
He made 40 appearances out on loan for the club which was good experience for him as a change of pace from academy football.
Fojticek made 42 appearances for United at youth level, including seven in the UEFA Youth League.
