The Three Lions are in Group L and will face Croatia, Ghana and Panama, while Portugal will come up against DR Congo, Uzbekistan and Colombia in Group K.
However, ITV pundit Roy Keane had another two standout teams in mind ahead of Argentina’s World Cup title defence in the latest FIFA tournament.

Argentina secured the World Cup trophy in Qatar in 2022 after Lionel Scaloni’s men defeated 2018 champions France on penalties in a thrilling final.

Speaking on ITV Sport, Roy Keane admitted that Argentina has narrowly edged out France as his favourites to capture the World Cup trophy this summer.
“I think Argentina, yeah,” he said.
“Do you know what? France, brilliant. Again, we’re talking about the strength and depth. I know Messi’s pushing on a bit now.”
The legendary former Manchester United captain was swayed by comments made by Lionel Scaloni, who has led Argentina to two Copa Americas and a World Cup.
“But the interview, the manager was quoted a few weeks ago, the Argentina manager [Scaloni], about ‘are you going to have to win the World Cup?’
“He went, ‘No, no, we’re going to have to retain it.’”
