Cristiano Ronaldo‘s interview with Piers Morgan was not the only one he has conducted. Another one with Live Score has been released ahead of the World Cup.
Ronaldo is aiming for success with Portugal in a tournament which could be his last World Cup, although it is not impossible he clings on for 2026.
He said of this year’s tournament: “It will be my fifth World Cup and I’m really grateful for the chance to play in another.”
“It will be different to play this kind of competition at the end of a year. It’s interesting, it’s a new challenge.”

Ronaldo’s dream World Cup final
Ronaldo dreams of Portugal going all the way to the final, and while many would love to see him take on Lionel Messi and Argentina for the trophy, he has a different preference.
The Manchester United forward explains his preference is to face Brazil, and he has already been talking to one of his teammates about it.
He explains: “I joked with Casemiro that the final will be Portugal against Brazil. It would be a dream, to be honest.
“The World Cup is the most difficult competition in the world. I’m dreaming of it.”
Ronaldo played alongside Casemiro at Real Madrid before the Brazilian joined him at Manchester United. The midfielder was one of three players he namechecked to compliment in his TalkTV interview.
Brazil have won the tournament five times, while Portugal have not won any. Before Ronaldo helped made it a regularity, Portugal frequently failed to qualify for the tournament.
Qualifying for Qatar was not easy for Portugal this time, they had to negotiate a play-off, made easier by Italy’s shock defeat to North Macedonia.
The World Cup is the one major trophy which has eluded Ronaldo in his glittering career.
Next week their finals campaign begins against Ghana, before matches against Uruguay and South Korea.
