Reinforcing the centre-back position this summer is not high on the Manchester United priority list, but it remains a position the club is continuing to be linked with options for.

In a move that would be excellent for adding quality in depth, Pavlovic has emerged as a possible target.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport in Italy, United are paying attention to Pavlovic, with the Milan defender an impressive talent.
Pavlovic has started 32 games for Milan this season, scoring five goals, and would arrive as a player ready to contribute immediately.

Who is Strahinja Pavlovic?
Pavlovic is a 24-year-old Serbian centre-back currently at AC Milan in Serie A.
He joined Milan in 2024 and has already played 54 times for his country despite not even being in his prime.
Born in Sabac on the 24th of May 2001, Pavlovic will turn 25 this summer, and this makes him an interesting potential signing at his current market value of £30.3m
Pavlovic favours his left foot, making him a potential reinforcement to strengthen the ranks alongside Ayden Heaven and Lisandro Martinez.

With Pavlovic being Serbian, it is inevitable that he will be likened to United legend Nemanja Vidic, but it goes beyond the nationality.
Both are physically imposing, aggressive and excellent traditional defenders.
Pavlovic stands at 6ft 4in tall, while Vidic stands at 6ft 3in, making both aerially dominant.
While Vidic was also 24 when he joined United, similar to Pavlovic.
