- Federico Valverde: It was only a matter of time before Manchester United were linked with the second party in the Aurelien Tchouameni altercation. The Star report United are ‘weighing up’ a move for Federico Valverde. I’d file this one under ‘too good to be true’.
- Strahinja Pavlovic: AC Milan star Strahinja Pavlovic has earned attention from Manchester United, reports Gazzetta dello Sport. The 24-year-old centre-back has started 31 games for Milan this season and scored five goals. Expect a few Nemanja Vidic comparisons for the Serbian international.
- Eli Junior Kroupi: Bournemouth are determined to keep Eli Junior Kroupi this summer, amid interest from Manchester United and Arsenal, reports TalkSport. The young striker has impressed for the Cherries this season. With United’s budget set to be focused on midfield, we don’t see this one happening.
- Ederson: Atalanta’s CEO has confirmed there has been no formal interest from Manchester United, or any club, in Ederson so far. The Brazilian is one of several options the Red Devils are considering this summer.
- Mateus Fernandes: Sky Sports reports United are set to step up interest in both Ederson and Mateus Fernandes. They claim both are ‘high’ on the club’s shortlist along with Elliot Anderson.
- Carlos Baleba: The same outlet claim United would be keen to get a deal done for Carlos Baleba before the World Cup. The club are confident after doing a lot of the background work on the midfielder last summer.
