Manchester United are in the market for more signings and one potential addition for the future at Old Trafford has resurfaced.
Ineos are currently running their first summer transfer window at Manchester United.
So far, United’s business has been pretty impressive.
Joshua Zirkzee has signed from Bologna to support Rasmus Hojlund in attack before wonderkid Leny Yoro arrived.
Yoro completed a £52million move from Lille and will hopefully be at the heart of United’s back line for years to come.
More deals are required and the current focus is on a new defender with Noussair Mazraoui keen to join United from Bayern Munich.

Manchester United links to Danish wonderkid resurface
United will be looking to add major first-team players ahead of the new Premier League season.
There will still be a focus on the future though, with the investment in teenager Yoro a sign of the long-term project under Ineos.
United may still look to add more young talents though and one rumoured target is being linked once again.
The Mirror (28/07, p72) report that United are interested in signing FC Copenhagen teenager Amin Chiakha.
This comes after Tipsbladet reported in May that United were interested in signing Chiakha.
The 18-year-old is allegedly valued at just £3million given that he has less than 18 months left to run on his contract.
Chiakha is described as being ‘bullish and prolific’ having impressed in the Copenhagen ranks.
22 goals in 30 Under-19 games for Copenhagen is an impressive record and he has now made three first-team appearances too.
The report suggests that Manchester City are also interested in Chiakha though as the striker attracts interest.
Beating City won’t be easy but United may make a real push to secure his signature in the coming months.
Amin Chiakha could add to United’s Danish striking options
Chiakha currently features for the Denmark Under-18’s but could still switch to play for Algeria down the line.
The hope for Denmark is that Chiakha will commit his long-term future to them – and join forces with other strikers he may find at United.
Rasmus Hojlund is the main name here with the United striker set to lead the line for Denmark for a long time yet.
Others will emerge though and Chiakha could be one of them, just like Chido Obi-Martin.
United are hoping to sign Obi-Martin with the Danish youth international confirming his decision to leave Arsenal.
The move for Obi-Martin and interest in Chiakha means the future of Denmark’s attack could all turn for United in the coming years – and hopefully shine for both club and country.
