Manchester United are looking to get some late deals done before the January transfer deadline with an attacker potentially wanted.
We expected this to be a quiet transfer window for Manchester United, at least in terms of incomings.
That was playing out as the window entered its final stages but United have burst into life late on.
United are poised to sign Ayden Heaven with the Arsenal teenager set to swap his boyhood club for a move to Old Trafford.
Another young player will be inbound too with United agreeing a deal to sign Patrick Dorgu.
The Lecce wing back has been United’s top target over the last week but he may not be the final move this month.

Manchester United target appears to say goodbye to Bayern Munich
Ruben Amorim wants another attacking threat and perhaps that shouldn’t be a surprise.
Question marks surround Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho ahead of transfer deadline day whilst Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee remain unconvincing.
An attacking addition could be vital for United but the budget won’t be huge – especially after signing Dorgu.
A loan deal could therefore be perfect for United and reports on Wednesday suggested that United want Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel.
It was claimed that United had made calls into signing Tel on loan given that he wants to leave Bayern for first-team action.
Eyebrows were raised on Wednesday night though as Tel started in Bayern’s 3-1 Champions League win over Slovan Bratislava.
At the end of the game, Tel was seen waving to the Bayern fans in what appeared to be a goodbye ahead of leaving the club.
Reporter Victor Catalina posted a clip of Tel’s apparent goodbye, adding that ‘the scenes look like a farewell’ as Tel gave away his jacket to a fan and took photos with supporters.
That certainly sounds like a goodbye but whether United can win the race for his signature remains to be seen.
Mathys Tel offers blunt transfer response
Tel was actually asked about his future after the final whistle in Bavaria.
Speaking to Sky Sports reporter Kerry Hau, Tel simply stated ‘I don’t know’ when asked if Wednesday night was his final appearance for Bayern.
Tel needs games though and with Bayern seemingly open to a loan, we would expect him to be on the move before Monday’s deadline.
Hailed as ‘something special’ by Christoph Freund on Bayern’s official website, Tel has so much talent and potential but isn’t receiving the chances to show it at Bayern.
United may well offer Tel a key role in Amorim’s attack, but United need to really push for some kind of purchase option to potentially keep him for the long term.
