Manchester United have a first summer signing on board and Erik ten Hag will now be looking for further additions to bolster his squad.
This was always going to be a huge few months for Manchester United with Ineos taking charge of their first summer transfer window.
The first signing of the summer arrived on Sunday afternoon with striker Joshua Zirkzee joining from Bologna.
More incoming deals are expected this summer and a number of potential moves are being worked on right now.
Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt is the most likely addition with Erik ten Hag keen to reunite with his former Ajax defender.
Lille centre back Leny Yoro is also wanted at Old Trafford whilst Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte is a target.
Strikers, centre backs and midfielders have been the focus with United looking to bolster the spine of Ten Hag’s team.

Manchester United want Viktor Tsygankov
United may still look for options out wide though and a new name has been linked in the Spanish media.
Spanish newspaper AS report that United are interested in snapping up Girona wide man Viktor Tsygankov.
It’s claimed that United are ‘drawing up their plans’ to try and sign Tsygankov this summer.
The Ukrainian international has a €30million (£25million) release clause in his contract and United could activate it this summer.
There is rival Premier League interest though; Arsenal have already sounded out Tsygankov and Aston Villa are keen too.
Both Arsenal and Villa will have Champions League football on offer, something United can’t offer this summer.
The report claims that United – alongside Arsenal and Villa – have contacted Tsygankov’s representatives to tell them that they will make a move for the wide man soon.
It’s even added that Ten Hag has already communicated to Tsygankov that he is wanted at Old Trafford.
Tsygankov is currently on holiday having featured for Ukraine at Euro 2024, but the battle for his signature may only heat up when he returns.

Omar Berrada may be aware of Tsygankov
The 26-year-old hit eight goals and seven assists last season, playing predominantly as a right-sided winger who cuts inside onto his left foot.
Tsygankov has racked up 55 caps for Ukraine and could offer depth on the right flank for United.
We would be surprised to see a deal emerge though, at least whilst both Antony and Jadon Sancho remain at the club.
Both players have question marks over them this summer and signing another winger is unlikely to be a priority whilst Antony and Sancho are at Ten Hag’s disposal.
One man who may know Tsygankov well though is Omar Berrada, the new CEO at Old Trafford.
Berrada previously served as Chief Football Operations Officer for the City Football Group before heading to United.
Girona are owned by the City Football Group and Berrada will have certainly had one eye on their progress.
It’s unclear just how much of a say on transfers Berrada will really have; that is more likely to be in the hands of Dan Ashworth, Jason Wilcox and Christopher Vivell.
Yet if United need another opinion on Tsygankov, Berrada may well be able to offer it having overseen Girona’s development for the last four years.
