Bruno Fernandes has stepped up and shown his world-class qualities in what has been an underwhelming season for Manchester United.
Without the Portuguese playmaker, Manchester United may well have been staring in the face of relegation this season.
Bruno Fernandes has made history at United this season, scoring 19 goals and providing 18 assists in all competitions.
Recently, Fernandes dropped a Europa League masterclass against Athletic Club as United built a 3-0 advantage in Spain. After missing out on the trophy in 2021, Bruno Fernandes will be desperate to pick up a medal this time around.
But United fans will not want the final in Bilbao to be Fernandes’ last-ever game for the Red Devils. Reports suggest Saudi clubs are interested in Fernandes heading into the summer transfer window.

Ruben Amorim has already spoken about Bruno Fernandes’ future
Fernandes’ world-class form in what has been such a disappointing campaign for United was always bound to draw attention.
The 30-year-old is on track to scoop his fourth Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award at United for his efforts this season.
The links to the Saudi Pro League is not the first interest United have had to bat away from Fernandes this season. In April, reports claimed Real Madrid were targeting Fernandes this summer, but they were quickly shut down by head coach Ruben Amorim.
Amorim told Fernandes he cannot leave and is not for sale – as simple as that.
Three words in Amorim’s press conference summed up Fernandes’ future at United: “He’s going nowhere!”
If Amorim and United were prepared to turn away Madrid’s £90m approach for Fernandes, the same applies to any Saudi bids that could arrive this summer.
How long will Bruno Fernandes stay at Man United?
Amorim has made it extremely clear that Fernandes is untouchable in his United squad, and clearly a player he wants to keep hold of for a long time.
Fernandes has a valid contract until 2027, but Ineos will not want United’s captain to simply walk away as a free agent.
He will be 32 years old when his current contract expires, and Fernandes’ incredible availability suggests he still has plenty of years remaining at the highest level.

Fans can expect talks to be held with Fernandes over a new contract in due time – and it could even keep him around for the completion of United’s £2bn stadium in 2030.
Fernandes is a key part of Amorim’s rebuild, and this season has proven that he United cannot cope without him.
