Manchester United are set to wrap up two new signings with Ruben Amorim ready to bolster his squad before the January transfer deadline.

Manchester United continue to be incredibly inconsistent under Ruben Amorim and recruitment will be key to turning the club around.

United were never likely to throw cash around during this January window but Amorim should have two new faces.

United are set to sign Ayden Heaven with the Arsenal teenager poised to arrive and bolster Amorim’s defensive ranks.

Patrick Dorgu is also poised to join United having struck a deal to sign the Lecce wing back.

Dorgu is a top young talent and could become Amorim’s left wing back for a long, long time if he continues to develop.

Patrick Dorgu’s former boss sends clear message

United are not buying the finished product here.

Dorgu is just 20 and has only has 53 senior league games to his name in Italy.

United are paying for potential and will be looking to help Dorgu become a star in the coming years.

If Amorim needs any tips on how to coach and develop Dorgu, then his former boss in Denmark has offered some advice.

FC Nordsjælland technical director Alexander Riget has spoken to Sky Sports having brought Dorgu to the club many years ago.

Riget claims that Dorgu is really ‘coachable’ because is a ‘very good listener’ when taking on instructions.

Riger highlighted that Dorgu is ‘quite silent’ and anybody coaching him much be a ‘little patient’ with him.

Dorgu is more of a thinker than a speaker and Right warned that he can take a while to speak up – something for Amorim to consider ahead of working with Dorgu.

“Patrick is definitely coachable. He is a very good listener,” said Riget.

“He is not a guy who speaks a lot. He is quite silent and you have to be a little patient when you are asking questions because he is a thinker, so he needs to get started before he is going to say something,” he added.

Manchester United have Denmark’s next generation

United may well wave goodbye to one of Denmark’s finest players this summer with Christian Eriksen likely to leave.

Dorgu’s imminent arrival does though mean United now have three of Denmark’s top talents for the future.

Dorgu himself will be looking to become Denmark’s left back of the future having already earned four caps.

United also have striker Rasmus Hojlund and whilst he has blown hot and cold at Old Trafford, he is one of Denmark’s top players for the future.

Then there is Chido Obi with the 17-year-old expected to become a star for club and country if he continues to develop.

Denmark fans will be hoping all three of them thrive together at Old Trafford, despite Danish media warning Dorgu against joining United.
