Real Madrid have released a statement on the latest bust-up between Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde.
The spiralling situation at Real Madrid between Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde has prompted a club investigation.
The two players were involved in a fight in training, the second reported altercation between the pair.
Valverde was knocked unconscious and was taken to hospital, BBC Sport report.
Manchester United have been strongly linked with a transfer for Aurelien Tchouameni, with Andy Mitten reporting interest.

What are your thoughts on the ‘fights’ between Tchouameni and Valverde… does this present an opportunity for United? Or is this a bad omen for a transfer?
Would Tchouameni be the right fit for United's dressing room?
Real Madrid issue statement
Real Madrid have confirmed that internal proceedings are now taking place.
A club statement read: “Real Madrid CF announces that, following the events that took place this morning in the first team training session, it has decided to open disciplinary proceedings against our players Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouameni.
“The club will announce the resolutions of both cases in due course, once the corresponding internal procedures have been completed.”
It does seem as though the situation for Valverde and Tchouameni is untenable at this stage.
Valverde’s injury is expected to keep him out of action, while Tchouameni could face an internal suspension.
United could benefit from Madrid’s possible need to sell Tchouameni, with central midfield the top position of need in the upcoming transfer window.
While if Valverde was made available, the club would be interested too.
