Manchester United legend Paul Scholes says he fears Victor Osimhen is better suited to Chelsea.
Speaking to Webby & O’Neill, Scholes voiced his concerns that the Napoli striker might be more of a Chelsea-style player.
Manchester United and Chelsea are both reported to be interested in the Nigerian international, ESPN report.
A bidding war could ensue, with both clubs desperate to sign a striker in the summer to fill voids in their respective attacks.

Scholes voices Osimhen concern
Scholes is on record saying he believes Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez would be better suited to Erik ten Hag’s system than Victor Osimhen.
While he does not profess to be an Osimhen expert, and backs him to score at Manchester United, he believes stylistically he may be better suited to Chelsea.
Scholes explained: “I’ve not seen loads of Osimhen. I know he scores goals, he’s scored a lot of very good goals. He looks more of a Chelsea type, a Drogba or Diego Costa.
“One of them who can play up on his own. But again he looks a quality player I think he’ll score goals whichever club he goes to.”
What Scholes doesn’t take into account is that styles of play can change. For instance, is what Graham Potter wants in a striker at Chelsea to suit his team, the same which Jose Mourinho wanted from Drogba or Costa?
It’s quite probable Osimhen would be a huge success at Stamford Bridge. And there is a real risk United could get outbid by new owner Todd Boehly’s never-ending determination to play real life Football Manager.
United’s ownership situation remains a big question mark heading into the summer. Erik ten Hag wants a striker deal done early, before the pre-season tour.
Osimhen, 24, has struck 25 goals for Napoli so far this season in 29 appearances.
