One European giant continues to show interest in signing Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.

Marcus Rashford has spent his entire career – and most of his life – at Manchester United after joining the club’s academy aged seven.

Now at 26 years old, he is a talisman for the Red Devils and has made over 400 senior appearances across the last nine years.

But Rashford’s form has dwindled over the past two seasons and he has struggled to replicate the emphatic 30-goal season he enjoyed in 2022/23 under Erik ten Hag.

Rashford has been working hard to return to top form at Old Trafford, but United’s academy gem continues to be linked with a move away from the club.

Paris Saint-Germain renew interest in Marcus Rashford

One club that have shared a long-term interest in Rashford is Paris Saint-Germain, who are still on the lookout for a replacement for Kylian Mbappe following his blockbuster move to Real Madrid.

PSG showed an interest in Rashford this summer with Ineos willing to part ways with him if a suitable offer arrived.

However, United valued Rashford at £80m – a price tag PSG were not willing to meet over the summer.

However, TeamTalk now report that PSG have renewed their interest in Rashford and are considering a swoop for him in 2025.

It adds that PSG held talks with Rashford over the summer and could return as they look to find their long-term Mbappe replacement.

PSG’s interest in Rashford dates back to 2020, when the Ligue 1 giants were coached by newly-appointed England manager Thomas Tuchel.

Tuchel is a big admirer of Rashford and could revive his international career after taking charge of the Three Lions.

Man United must keep hold of Marcus Rashford

Despite his recent drop in form, Rashford is still United’s most prolific forward.

The transfer strategy under Ineos has been to invest in youth, and while that creates an exciting future for United, there are currently no strikers at the club who can match Rashford’s output.

He has proven under Ten Hag that he can score 30 goals a season, finding consistency and maintaining that form is now his biggest challenge.

Unless Rashford’s heart is set on leaving United, then the club should do everything to keep hold of him. He is a great role model and example to the academy talents currently coming through the ranks.

Rashford has shown glimpses of returning to form this season having already scored four goals in 11 games. There is still more to come from him.
