Manchester United are unlikely to splash the cash in the January transfer window but continue to be linked with potential signings.

Ruben Amorim has only managed three games as Manchester United boss but will be encouraged by his start at Old Trafford.

United have picked up two wins and a draw under Amorim, beating Bodo/Glimt and Everton in recent days.

Sunday’s 4-0 thrashing of Everton was Amorim’s first win in the Premier League and he will look to back it up with a strong result at Arsenal on Wednesday night.

Amorim will be especially pleased with the output from his attackers with Marcus Rashford, Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund all scoring braces under him.

The trio have some in for criticism this season but have all shown promising signs in Amorim’s new approach.

Manchester United eyeing Juventus talent

That isn’t exactly stopping rumours surrounding a United move for a new forward in 2025.

Omar Marmoush is on United’s radar after his scintillating form for Eintracht Frankfurt whilst another target is emerging in Serie A.

Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg claims that United are seriously considering a move for Juventus talent Kenan Yildiz.

Plettenberg claims that Yildiz is now ‘one of the top names’ on United’s transfer wish list.

It’s suggested that United have been impressed with Yildiz’s development in Turin and would be interested in signing him at the end of the season.

Yildiz is not exactly agitating for a move away from Juve though and currently feels very comfortable at the club.

Convincing the Turkish talent to leave Juventus won’t be easy but United may hope to snatch him away over the summer.

Rumours of United’s interest in Yildiz come as speculation over Juventus wanting to sign United’s Joshua Zirkzee continues.

Juve boss Thiago Motta has dodged questions about Zirkzee but the interest in Yildiz may spark swap speculation down the line.

Who is Juventus wonderkid Kenan Yildiz?

Yildiz was born in Germany to a Turkish father and German mother, ultimately deciding to represent Turkey at international.

After starting out with hometown club Jahn Regensburg, Yildiz was snapped up by Bayern Munich and spend a decade in their ranks.

Yildiz decided to leave in 2022, securing a move to Italy with Juventus, where he initially featured in the ‘Next Gen’ team.

Now part of Juve’s first-team plans, Yildiz has bagged eight goals and four assists in 51 games across all competitions.

Primarily a left-sided winger, Yildiz may appeal to Amorim due to his versatility to play up front or as an attacking midfielder.

Former Juventus man Marco Marchionni has praised Yildiz as an ‘extraordinary’ player, as quoted by Tuttomercatoweb, with the 19-year-old really catching the eye.
