Joshua Zirkzee enjoyed a superb Sunday afternoon as he bagged a brace in Manchester United’s 4-0 thrashing of Everton.
Ruben Amorim now has his first Premier League win as Manchester United boss.
The 39-year-old beat Everton 4-0 on Sunday, just days after beating Bodo/Glimt 3-2 in the Europa League.
Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee grabbed the headlines as both forwards scored braces to help United to victory.
Zirkzee impressed Jamal Musiala with his two-goal display and this performance should serve as a major confidence boost.
Zirkzee’s last goal before Sunday was away back on the opening day of the season against Fulham, so there will be real relief over his drought ending.

Zirkzee’s starting role against Everton was something of a surprise.
Rasmus Hojlund bagged two goals against Bodo/Glimt on Thursday night and seemed primed for a start.
Instead, Amorim put his faith in Zirkzee and was rewarded with a superb brace in a thumping home win.
The goals should also slow down rumours surrounding a potential January exit for Zirkzee.
Reports in Italy suggest that Juventus are keen to sign Zirkzee on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
Juve boss Thiago Motta coached Zirkzee at Bologna and a reunion has been heavily rumoured over in Italy.
After a frustrating 1-1 draw at Lecce on Sunday, Motta was asked whether he will move to sign Zirkzee to cure his side’s attacking problems.
Motta, as quoted by Tuttomercatoweb, dodged the question entirely and simply stated that he is happy with his current squad rather than play into the Zirkzee rumours.
“The market will open in January, we are in total harmony with the club,” said Motta. “I am very happy with the players I have, I hope that the injured players can return and be able to give a hand to the team,” he added.

Zirkzee looks set to stay at Manchester United
A January exit for Zirkzee – even on loan – would have been a huge surprise.
United paid around £36million to sign Zirkzee from Bologna over the summer and letting him go in January just wouldn’t have made sense.
Reports suggest that Zirkzee wants to stay at United and seemingly has no interest in a return to Italy.
Amorim’s only focus will be on getting the best out of Zirkzee and helping United see some return on that summer investment.
Sunday can’t be a flash in the pan for Zirkzee and we still need to see more from him moving forward, but links to Juventus can surely be forgotten about for now.
