Manchester United have been in touch with the representatives of French forward Martin Terrier, reports French outlet MediaFoot.
Terrier has 15 goal involvements this season in 20 games, 11 goals and four assists.
United are claimed to have made contact with Terrier’s agents to ‘find out the will of the player, his salary expectations and the conditions of a possible transfer’.
No move yet is underway, but it seems United are doing their research on potential targets.

Who is Martin Terrier?
90min reported in early November that Manchester United had sent scouts to watch Terrier in action.
The forward scored 21 goals in Ligue 1 last season, which was only bettered by his fellow countrymen Wissam Ben Yedder (25) and Kylian Mbappe (28).
This season Terrier has played both on the left wing and up front. He is similar to Cody Gakpo in that he is not a traditional centre-forward.
This was one of the reasons United did not shell out for Gakpo, so the club may decline to follow through on Terrier too.
The Frenchman is under contract to Rennes until 2026, extending his deal as recently as this past August. He had signed for Rennes from Lyon in 2020 for £10 million.
