Manchester United consider a loan move for Christopher Nkunku

In order to bolster the forward line, United are now said to be considering Chelsea’s £52m Christopher Nkunku.

The 27-year-old has emerged as a target according to Sky Sports’ United correspondent, Dharmesh Sheth.

It is claimed that United are mulling over whether to make a loan move for Chelsea’s Nkunku.

The chances of United making a permanent move are considered highly unlikely, but he is one who is being considered for a loan.

Additionally, it is added that Chelsea have retained their interest in Garnacho, which means there is plenty for the two clubs to discuss.

Nkunku has had a decent season with 13 goals and 14 assists, while playing in a bit-part role.

Nkunku is highly rated by his footballing peers

Nkunku would not be a bad stop-gap addition if it is on a no-commitment loan. The Frenchman is highly rated by his peers in football.

Bellingham was wowed by Nkunku back in 2022. Speaking on the England YouTube channel, the Real Madrid star named Nkunku in his dream five-a-side team.

“If it’s people I’ve played against, I’ll say someone like Nkunku to be honest. Bagsman. Probably would be good at five-a-side. I’ll go with those five elite players.”

Another to be full of praise for Nkunku was France and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.

“Yes I do love watching him,” Henry told CBS Sports. “Goals and assists. He is just having fun this season. But he is adding goals this year.

“He’s in the national team now. His confidence… the world wants him.”
