Manchester United’s valuation of Harry Amass is horribly wrong.

This summer, Harry Amass has starred in pre-season with some very impressive displays at left-back.

Manchester United fans have been so impressed by Amass that, on TalkingPoints, supporters said they would rather promote Amass than sign Lewis Hall from Newcastle United this summer.

It seemed as though the 19-year-old was finally going to get his opportunity as a first-team regular at Old Trafford, but the club’s transfer plans suggest otherwise.

Man United have underestimated Harry Amass’ value

According to The Athletic‘s new deal sheet with all the latest transfer news, Amass could leave United this summer and the club “prefer” a permanent exit.

Incredibly, the report then states that United value Amass in the “region of £6 million”.

You read that right. Six million. For a 19-year-old talent who looks ready to play regularly in the Premier League.

Ineos are yet to prove themselves as capable sellers in the transfer market, and a £6 million fee for Amass would harm their reputation even more.

United’s rivals are selling their academy talent for eight-figure fees, and the Red Devils are ready to offload one of their more exciting prospects for an insignificant sum.
