Manchester United splashed the cash over the summer but Ineos will surely have more transfer targets in mind for 2025.
Ineos chose to back rather than sack Erik ten Hag after a disappointing campaign last season.
Whether that decision was the right one is still up in the air with Manchester United making a poor start this term.
Ten Hag’s future has been discussed by United executives this week but the Dutchman looks set to stay.
Knitting together the summer signings is paramount, especially after seeing Matthijs de Ligt, Manuel Ugarte and Joshua Zirkzee start from the bench against Aston Villa last weekend.
Ineos may be reluctant to splash the cash again in January if the summer signings don’t feature more prominently, but targets will be in mind.

Manchester United target wants ‘world class’ club
United chose not to sign a winger over the summer and instead backed the options at Ten Hag’s disposal.
Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Amad Diallo must step it up this season whilst Jadon Sancho joined Chelsea.
United will surely look to add another wide player though in 2025, especially with Antony surely in the last chance saloon at Old Trafford.
One player on the radar is Bologna wide man Dan Ndoye.
Reports in June suggested that United had made contact over a deal to sign Ndoye during Euro 2024.
Ndoye impressed for Switzerland and showed off his blazing speed in the process.
Ndoye has now spoken to Sky Sports in Switzerland and noted that he ignored everybody who told him he couldn’t become a footballer.
The winger was told that Liverpool want to sign him and responded by stating that he is working to ultimately join a ‘world class club’ in the future.
Ndoye believes that he can reach that level and interest appears to be mounting ahead of the 2025 windows.
“I don’t put any barriers on myself! At school, when people told me it was impossible to become a professional footballer, I didn’t listen to anyone,” said Ndoye.
“In the end, that’s where I am today. Really… I will never put any barriers on myself. I work to play in my position in a world-class club because I know I have the ability,” he added.

Ineos know Dan Ndoye very well
Liverpool are being linked with wingers on a regular basis now with Mohamed Salah inside the final year of his contract.
Ndoye may well be on their radar but Ineos could be the key factor in United’s chase.
The 23-year-old emerged in the ranks of Lausanne-Sport before joining Nice in 2020.
Both Lausanne-Sport and Nice are owned by Ineos, so United’s key decision makers are well aware of Ndoye’s talent.
That familiarity could prove vital if this race comes down to United v Liverpool with Ineos no doubt hoping that their history with Ndoye can help win the race.
Ndoye must continue developing this season but it would be little surprise to see United make him a priority if Ten Hag’s wingers don’t step up this term.
