The transfer window’s final weeks will involve outgoings and incomings at Manchester United.
The most high profile exit in summer 2023 at Manchester United was goalkeeper David de Gea, who left as a free agent.
After taking an entire year off, dealing with the shock of his Manchester United release, David de Gea finally signed with a new club last week.
De Gea clinched a move to Fiorentina, and now the goalkeeper could be reunited with one of his defenders.

Fiorentina want Victor Lindelof
Fiorentina have entered the race to sign Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof, according to Gianluca di Marzio.
A move is not at an advanced stage. Currently, Fiorentina are exploring whether a move is financially viable, trying to understand the salary the defender wants, and whether they could afford it.
Lindelof would have to drop his demands in relation to his current Manchester United deal, which expires in 2025.
David de Gea’s previous salary at United was very high, and he has found common ground with Fiorentina.
If Lindelof is sufficiently attracted by the project in Florence, he could decide to make the move, and rejoin his former goalkeeper.
The idea of playing alongside De Gea could be a contributory factor in terms of Lindelof’s decision making.
Lindelof’s wife has expressed her concern at the uncertainty at what will come amid the defender’s expiring contract, so naturally, a familiar face in De Gea and his family, could help.
Lindelof surplus to requirements
Victor Lindelof is surplus to requirements at Manchester United after the double defensive signing of Leny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt.
Raphael Varane has left, another player who has signed with a Serie A side as a free agent, similar to De Gea.
United could keep Lindelof as extra depth, but he is not really needed, and the Sweden international captain will want to play games.
Fiorentina won’t be the only club who are looking at him, but the De Gea aspect gives the Italian side an advantage.
