Manchester United face crucial Europa League semifinals in the week ahead but in the meantime, the transfer window has become all the rage.
It started with United’s links to Matheus Cunha that developed at a rapid pace and could soon see a “Here We Go” in record time.
From there, links to Liam Delap are gaining momentum, and even though Newcastle want to spoil that party, United remain heavy favourites.
Meanwhile, a player already at the club has “changed his story”, according to Fabrizio Romano, and his future at Old Trafford has taken a 180-degree turn.

Man Utd star’s story changed
It is no secret that despite being close to spending about £100 million on Cunha and Delap, United will soon feel the effects of their cash crunch.
It’s why they are aiming for a triple exit to facilitate this double deal and transfers beyond, with the likes of Ederson their dream target in midfield.
That naturally means more players could be on the chopping block soon and amid those reports, Fabrizio Romano has claimed on his Here We Go podcast that one player’s story at the club has changed.
Speaking about the striker situation at Old Trafford, Romano said that what looked like curtains for Joshua Zirkzee in January has flipped and the credit for that goes to the player.
He said: “For Joshua Zirkzee, at the moment, the situation is quiet. He’s been able to perform very well recently to change his story at Man Utd after a difficult start.
“He’s been able to return on the right track, to be on very good relationship with his teammates, his coach so he’s doing quite well.
“Even if he had the opportunity to go to Juventus on loan in January, he wanted to stay and that was really appreciated at the club.”
Joshua Zirkzee is an example for Rasmus Hojlund
Romano went on to add that Hojlund now finds himself in the situation Zirkzee did in the winter, with interest from top Italian clubs in the Dane’s services.
Hojlund also wants to stay and fight for his place and in such a moment, he can look to Zirkzee and how the Dutchman has won back his place.
Hojlund has received a longer rope than Zirkzee did and the Dutchman also has a more rounded game which has helped him, but the mentality and intangibles were immaculate from Zirkzee.
If Hojlund can replicate that and gain some kind of form, then it goes without saying that even United wouldn’t want to write off their marquee investment so easily.
If Zirkzee can do it, then there’s no reason why Hojlund can’t, especially with more Premier League experience and suitability to the striker’s role.
