Manchester United are just hours away from announcing Bryan Mbeumo as their next major signing this summer.
The saga is set to be finally over after Manchester United agreed a £71m deal for Bryan Mbeumo with Brentford.
Ineos were in talks with the Bees for over six weeks to try and get a deal across the line for the 25-year-old forward, and now he is set to put pen to paper.
United agreed to spread Mbeumo’s cost over multiple years, meaning there is still cash in the bank to sign more players this summer.
But the priority will be getting the final touches sorted so that Bryan Mbeumo can be officially announced, and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed some exciting details.

Bryan Mbeumo medical imminent with 2030 contract ready
United begin their pre-season preparations on Saturday with a friendly against Leeds United in Sweden.
Mbeumo will not be signed in time to take part in that match, but it seems his announcement could be made around the game.
Romano revealed via X that Mbeumo is set for his medical today as he completes the final “formal steps” of his transfer.
United had agreed personal terms with Mbeumo weeks ago, and a contract has been prepared until 2030 with the club holding an option to extend to 2031.
It means that Mbeumo will be around for the opening of United’s new £2bn stadium in 2030 if he sees out the full length of his contract.
Once the medical is complete and the contract is signed, fans can expect a club announcement to follow.
When Bryan Mbeumo will make his Man United debut
The Leeds United friendly has come too early for Mbeumo, although fans will get a chance to see Matheus Cunha make his debut after his summer move.
But Amorim wanted Mbeumo signed for the US tour, and it seems the deal will be finalised in time for him to join the travelling squad.
Amorim named a 29-man squad for the Leeds friendly, and Mbeumo will likely add to that figure when United travel Stateside.
The first friendly on tour comes against West Ham on July 27th – that is when Mbeumo will be expected to make his United debut.
He will have just less than a month in training with Amorim and his new teammates before United’s Premier League campaign kicks off against Arsenal on August 17th.
