Manchester United allowed a number of players to leave the club this summer and some remain without a club – including defender Brandon Williams.
As the curtain came down on a very up-and-down campaign, Manchester United announced a retained list.
Some of those who left the club have already found new sides with mixed fortunes already emerging.
Raphael Varane is already injured after joining Como whilst Shola Shoretire joined PAOK, but his Champions League dreams are already over after elimination in the third qualifying round.
Charlie McNeill is making an impact for Sheffield Wednesday but Marcus Lawrence and Kie Plumley are yet to find new clubs.
The same goes for Anthony Martial but the Frenchman is wanted by Atalanta and Lille on a free transfer.

Brandon Williams latest after Manchester United exit
Then there is Brandon Williams, whose contract came to an end this summer in rather emotional fashion.
Williams spent 17 years in the United ranks and sent a heartfelt message upon his departure.
Williams managed 51 first-team appearances for United but endured mixed loan spells with Norwich City and Ipswich Town.
Now a free agent, the 23-year-old has yet to find a club – but he could be in the picture for Scottish side Rangers.
The Daily Record claim that Rangers is on a list of potential signings at Ibrox and has been since the end of last season.
Rangers are now facing an injury problem at left back with Ridvan Yilmaz potentially on the sidelines for months.
The Gers may now consider signing Williams on a free transfer to bolster their defensive options, handing him a return to the game with their season already up and running.
Williams could join Hannibal Mejbri at Rangers
Williams would surely jump at the chance to join Rangers.
Philippe Clement’s side have been dumped out of the Champions League qualifiers but will still hope to launch a Scottish Premiership title push.
The chance to play at Ibrox on a regular basis should certainly appeal to Williams and he may yet be joined by a familiar face.
Rangers are interested in Hannibal Mejbri too with United willing to let the Tunisia international move on this summer.
However, Rangers want a loan move and United would prefer to sell, meaning Hannibal’s potential move to Ibrox is not an easy one.
A deal for Williams would be much easier for Rangers to pull off and United fans would no doubt wish him all the best in Glasgow.
