Marcus Rashford has made a good start to life at Aston Villa, much to the dismay of Manchester United supporters.
Rashford decided to move to Aston Villa on loan in January after Ruben Amorim froze him out of the squad at Old Trafford.
Rashford had a great debut for Villa in the FA Cup, and his Premier League bout for the Villans was also a success. He came on in the second half and got an assist after a fine free-kick cannoned off the woodwork to Ollie Watkins.

Unai Emery hailed Rashford’s impact after the fixture, and many fans echoed the same thoughts, lots of which were Manchester United supporters. Some of whom need to stop being so reactionary.

Manchester United supporters fume at Ruben Amorim for Marcus Rashford
A big part of Amorim’s problem with Rashford was his efforts in training, which weren’t up to the desired level for the Portuguese.
But after his move to Villa, and two impressive cameos, fans can’t understand how this was the issue.
One said: ‘You can slander a man’s name but you can’t take his god-given talent away from him. Amorim’s personal attacks on Rashford just making him look dumb now.’
Another laughs: ‘Amorim said Rashford wasn’t meeting training standards but [Rasmus] Hojlund was.’
‘Someone should ask Unai whether Rashford trains well,’ another fan states.
One more puts: ‘Rashford looks good… Amorim, you really froze him out instead of utilising him until the end of the season.’
Someone else chimes in with, ‘Rashford played too good for someone that doesn’t train well. Amorim lied to us.’
A final adds: ‘What a change of environment does, Rashford taking on defenders, tracking and creating chances, now Amorim has no natural winger for the remainder of the season after Amad injury. Why he couldn’t work it out with Rashford, we will never know.’
Fans should stop being reactionary about Rashford
It’s been two games. Not even two games – just 69 minutes of football in an Aston Villa shirt.
There was a reason Rashford left Manchester United on loan, and that is because, for some time now, his performances haven’t been good enough on the pitch. Simple.

Combine that with the reported problems, and it was the logical option at the time. A decision that fans are now turning on Amorim in quite ludicrous fashion.
It wasn’t just Amorim who had problems with Marcus. Erik ten Hag had ongoing issues, and Andy Mitten reported that many Manchester United managers prior echoed the same.
The fact he’s looked ‘sharp’ for not even a full 90 minutes can not condemn a decision that was months in the making, and the finger of blame simply can’t be pointed Amorim’s way.

Jadon Sancho should be an example
A good example of the fanbase’s overreactive nature was when Jadon Sancho first departed to Chelsea.
Blues fans were in awe of Sancho in his first few games for Chelsea, and they couldn’t believe they’d fleeced United for just £25m.
A sentiment, not even four months on, that couldn’t be any more opposite. Chelsea have seen the real Sancho at Stamford Bridge, and now in fact don’t even want to sign him permanently.
We aren’t saying Rashford will do the same, but football is a topsy-turvy game, Rashford could have a shocker in the coming weeks.
Fans need to calm down, and ultimately, need to stop blaming Manchester United’s first-team coach amid all of this.
