Mason Greenwood is yet to appear in a Manchester derby in the Premier League.
He started both legs of the EFL Cup semi-final loss to Manchester City last season, scoring in the home clash.
But the wonderkid was an unused substitute in the two league derbies last term – both of which were won by United.
Anthony Martial is back for tomorrow’s game, but Edinson Cavani remains a fitness doubt.

That puts Greenwood in line to start. Solskjaer played him in a front two in Leipzig on Tuesday, as he reverted back to a 5-3-2 system.
The overall shape didn’t work on the night but Greenwood looked lively as he continued his recent return to form.
His goal at West Ham was the type we saw from Greenwood regularly at the end of last season, and his display in Germany was another step in the right direction.
If Solskjaer goes with a front two – a midfield diamond is also an option – Greenwood looks more confident and fitter than Martial right now.

If it’s a more conventional 4-2-3-1, Greenwood is the leading candidate to play on the right.
After a tough week for the club, United need him to shine if he is handed a maiden league derby appearance.
The clash will see him go up against Phil Foden. It feels like the City midfielder has had an easier ride in the press after the pair were sent home from England duty in September.
It has taken Greenwood slightly longer to rediscover his form – there have been other off-field reasons for that too – but he’s been doing exactly that in recent games.
United need him to shine once again tomorrow.
