Day 13 of the FIFA World Cup is in the books, and Man Utd fans will be delighted at seeing their magnifico return to form.
Portugal put aside the demons of their frustrating opening-game draw to put three past Uzbekistan and take control of their group.
In other games, Colombia qualified after defeating DR Congo, Ghana held England to a frustrating goalless draw, and Croatia beat Panama.
Here’s how the Man Utd players, past and present, fared on day 13 of the World Cup.

Man Utd’s Premier League fixtures for 2026/27 have now been CONFIRMED – What do you think?
Bruno Fernandes – 8/10 (W vs Uzbekistan)
Portugal faced a lot of questions after failing to pick up three points against DR Congo in their opening game.
Fernandes was left frustrated in a limp attacking performance, but he roared back to life against Uzbekistan.
He assisted one goal for Cristiano Ronaldo and ran the show from multiple positions – attacking and central midfield – to send a reminder of his qualities.
Cristiano Ronaldo – 9/10 (W vs Uzbekistan)
The draw against DR Congo was the nadir of Ronaldo’s World Cup career as people wrote him off.
He bounced back with a brace against Uzbekistan, and wasn’t afraid of reminding his doubters that he still has it with an unstoppable performance.
He still missed some chances and looked rusty, but he was back amongst the goals. If Portugal insist on starting him every game, then this is what he needs to do to stop being a hindrance to the team.
Axel Tuanzebe – 6/10 (L vs Colombia)
Axel Tuanzebe’s DR Congo is facing the prospect of elimination unless they can defeat Uzbekistan in their final game and hope Portugal beat Colombia.
Tuanzebe was a busybody defensively against the South Americans, finishing the game with the joint-most defensive contributions.
After the 8 Champions League group games, Man Utd will play 5 Premier League matches at home and 3 away. See the FULL breakdown…
It wasn’t enough to avoid defeat, but it has been a good experience for the former Man Utd academy captain.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 7/10 (L vs Colombia)
Tuanzebe had the joint-most defensive contributions against Colombia alongside Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who did his best impression of “Spider Wan”.
Wan-Bissaka did his best to lock down Luis Diaz down his side, and was a key reason why the margin of defeat was just 1-0.
Marcus Rashford – 6/10 (D vs Ghana)
Marcus Rashford came off the bench to play just seven minutes against Ghana, but did enough to prompt questions about whether England missed his moments of magic in a laborious draw.
Failure to beat a deep block will worry Thomas Tuchel, and Rashford could be in line for an increased role in the future.
