In a season where we have seen several questionable decisions go against Manchester United, we might have seen the worst one of the season this weekend.
Casemiro was shown a red card in Manchester United’s clash with Southampton after a VAR review increased the initial yellow card.
It is his second red card of the season, leaving the Brazilian facing a four game suspension.
Manchester United will have to consider appealing the red card, as there may be a case for the decision to be reviewed.

How Southampton players reacted
There was a stunned reaction among the fans at Old Trafford when Casemiro was given the red card.
MUTV presenter Stewart Gardner explained what he saw after the sending off was confirmed by referee Anthony Taylor.
He told the channel: “All the Southampton players were shocked and were sympathising with Casemiro as he walked off, which tells you a lot about the decision.”
Casemiro had won the ball with his tackle however it was judged that his follow through was dangerous.
The midfielder looked distraught with the decision given against him and had to be consoled by his Manchester United teammates.
If the suspension stands and the schedule remains unchanged, he will not play another Premier League game until the April 15 match away at Nottingham Forest.
