Ben Foster has spoken out on the impact of one Manchester United summer signing and his feelings on what would be an impressive season for Ruben Amorim.
Ruben Amorim has seen Manchester United turn their form around in recent weeks and the Red Devils have not lost in their last five Premier League matches.
United have won three of their last five fixtures and the Red Devils picked up back-to-back Premier League draws going into the November international break.
The Red Devils came from behind at City Ground earlier this month after they blew a 1-0 lead, with United and Nottingham Forest playing out a 2-2 Premier League draw.
Following United’s result against Nottingham Forest, the Red Devils once again failed to hold on to their lead after their Premier League encounter with Tottenham.
United went 1-0 up against Tottenham in the first half before Spurs rallied back in the second half to take a 2-1 lead, with the Red Devils salvaging a late equaliser.

Ben Foster’s feelings on Man Utd summer signing Senne Lammens amid the November international break
Senne Lammens has featured in all five of Manchester United’s last five matches and has now firmly established himself ahead of Altay Bayindir in the pecking order.
The 23-year-old Belgian shot-stopper arrived from Royal Antwerp in the summer and Senne Lammens has impressed with his consistent performances between the sticks.
Lammens has kept one clean sheet in his first five Premier League fixtures, which came in United’s 2-0 win over Sunderland at Old Trafford in October.
Speaking on the former Royal Antwerp star, Ben Foster said on his podcast: “I think the goalie has settled them down nicely, to be fair.”

Ruben Amorim has also shown more consistency with his picks for his United starting XI and Foster believes that it is having a positive impact for the Red Devils.
“I think they’ve just settled down into a starting 11 that kind of works a little bit,” former United shot-stopper Foster added on the ‘Fozcast’ show.

Ben Foster on what would be a major success for Man Utd’s 2025-26 season under Ruben Amorim
United’s 2-2 draw against Tottenham allowed the Red Devils to walk away with an important point at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium ahead of the November break.
The Red Devils are seventh in the Premier League table and Ruben Amorim’s men are only one point away from fourth-place Sunderland after 11 league matches.
Foster thinks a successful season for United manager Amorim would be if the Red Devils can defy the odds and climb into the Premier League’s top four.
“If they get top four this season, it is an unreal season,” he said.
United will return to Premier League action on 24th November and the Red Devils will host Everton for their first match at Old Trafford in the post-international break.
