Manchester United’s new signings have been impressive this season so far, although Ruben Amorim has barely scratched the surface.
It was a strong transfer window by Ineos, with each signing exciting in their own regard.
Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha were particularly exciting for Manchester United, as both were among the best in the Premier League last season, which in theory should drastically improve Ruben Amorim’s side.
With two ready-made stars added, United also looked long-term, with Senne Lammens and Benjamin Sesko having the potential to become among the best in their positions.
Looking longer term, United signed Diego Leon for £3.2m from Cerro Porteno, with the 18-year-old one for the future.

Diego Leon being kept around Manchester United’s first team
It feels like a long time ago that Leon vowed to make an immediate impact for United while waiting on his flight to Manchester back in Paraguay.
Rio Ferdinand was excited as Leon was announced in June, and he stepped directly into Amorim’s squad for pre-season.
Leon was impressive for United during training and earned plenty of minutes throughout the tour. In the USA, Leon got an assist against Bournemouth; however, since then he hasn’t played for the first team.
However, BBC Sport journalist Simon Stone has reported that Leon remains in the first team at Carrington. Having been tipped to feature for the U21s, Amorim has instead chosen to keep Leon with the first team.
United views this decision internally as positive, as it is an invaluable learning experience for the teenager. It also speaks volumes as it shows Amorim is excited by Leon enough to keep him in and around the senior side.

Diego Leon has made a huge impression at Manchester United
Despite arriving with limited English skills and the clear need to adapt to a new country, Leon has been immediately impressive.
Kobbie Mainoo spoke of Leon’s power when he raved about the 18-year-old’s first impression at the club.
Also speaking about the teenager, Manuel Ugarte urged fans to be patient with Leon as he is undergoing massive cultural changes alongside developing as a player.
Leon has been labelled the talk of Carrington as he has become one of the most popular faces at the club.
Amorim being a fan of Leon bodes well, and if Patrick Dorgu’s struggles continue a debut could soon arrive.
