Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has relayed important feedback for manager Erik ten Hag ahead of the Europa League encounter with Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce side.
The Red Devils returned to winning ways on Saturday after a 2-1 comeback win against Brentford in the Premier League at Old Trafford.
Manchester United were dealt a major blow before half-time after Ethan Pinnock fired Brentford into the lead from a corner in first-half injury time.
However, Erik ten Hag’s men rallied back in the second half and produced a stunning performance to beat Thomas Frank’s men at Old Trafford.
Alejandro Garnacho pulled United level two minutes into the second half after an assist from Marcus Rashford before Rasmus Hojlund netted in the 62nd minute.
United are now 11th in the Premier League table and have managed three league wins from eight matches under Ten Hag in the 2024-25 campaign.

Man Utd star Hojlund sends clear message
Manchester United will now turn their attention to the Europa League on Thursday and the club will be reunited with former Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho.
The Red Devils have had a lacklustre start to their Europa League campaign, with United picking up a 1-1 draw against FC Twente and a 3-3 draw against Porto.
United manager Erik ten Hag would be hopeful that the Red Devils will build momentum by picking up an important result against Fenerbahce on Thursday in Turkey.
Speaking after the Brentford match, Rasmus Hojlund welcomed the chemistry he shared with Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho in the win on the weekend.
“All of us in the front clicked very well,” he told MUTV, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“It was very good to play with all the lads from the beginning at Old Trafford, I’ve really missed it.”
Ten Hag could deeply benefit from playing the same trio of Hojlund, Rashford and Garnacho against Fenerbahce at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium in Istanbul.
Hojlund on return from injury
Hojlund was dealt a major blow in the summer after he suffered an injury during the 2-1 pre-season defeat to Arsenal at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
The 21-year-old Denmark striker missed the opening weeks of the current campaign due to injury, but Hojlund has now insisted that he is back to full fitness.
“Obviously, having an injury in the beginning of the season and now being 100 per cent fit is a very good experience,” Hojlund said.
“I’m just trying to bring everything I can every time I step onto the pitch, especially here.”
