Manchester United fans made their feelings perfectly clear about Rasmus Hojlund after the Denmark striker’s stunning performance against Brentford on Saturday at Old Trafford.
Rasmus Hojlund missed the opening weeks of the Premier League campaign after he suffered a pre-season injury in the United States in July.
The 21-year-old Danish forward limped off with a hamstring problem in the first half of a 2-1 defeat to Arsenal at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
Hojlund, who arrived at Old Trafford in 2023, has only managed six appearances across all competitions in the 2024-25 season since his return from injury.
The former Manchester United star has scored twice for the Red Devils this season, with Hojlund making two Premier League starts from four league appearances.

Man Utd star Hojlund vs Brentford
Manchester United returned to action for the first time since the end of the October international break, with the Red Devils hosting Brentford at Old Trafford.
Erik ten Hag’s men have had a disappointing start to the 2024-25 Premier League season, with United only managing three wins in eight league matches so far.
United were dealt a blow in the first half of injury time in Saturday’s Premier League clash after Ethan Pinnock broke the deadlock for Brentford.
However, Erik ten Hag’s side rallied back in the second half and produced a sensational display to complete a 2-1 comeback win over Thomas Frank’s men.
Alejandro Garnacho pulled United level only two minutes into the second half before Rasmus Hojlund found the back of the net for the Red Devils in the 62nd minute.
Hojlund showed a superb display overall for the Red Devils before United manager Ten Hag and withdrew him for summer signing Joshua Zirkzee.
Man Utd fans react to Hojlund’s display vs Brentford
United fans on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, praised Hojlund for his impact in the Red Devils’ comeback win at Old Trafford.
A Red Devils supporter claimed that the Denmark international “deserves a lot more respect” for what he brings alongside his goalscoring output.
One fan said: “Majestic performance from Rasmus Hojlund. Hold-up play [was] great, so combative with Brentford’s huge centre-halves, took his goal beautifully. Never forget what a great talent he is.”
“Rasmus Hojlund’s hold-up play is so satisfying. Good win from my red kings Manchester United,” another added.
Someone else commented: “Watching Rasmus Hojlund play is such a treat; the guy has every capability to be [a] great all-round striker. Great hold-up play, first touch, through balls [and] ice-cold strikes in [the] penalty box. When he gets service, he’s so good, I just wish he gets more service more often.”
A fourth X user wrote: “Rasmus Hojlund has not only shown his ability to play with his back to goal, use his strength to bring in players and even get past them using his physical prowess but also his guile to finish as he did today with a beautiful dink. Pivotal as our focal point in attack.”
While a fifth posted: “Brilliant performance from Rasmus Hojlund which shows the benefits of his hard work. That’s the way to keep your place in the XI. Killer in front of goal and has come a long way with his back-to-goal play. Top, top performance.”
Somebody else tweeted: “That was a well-deserved goal for Rasmus Hojlund. He’s been absolutely sensational today! Tactical masterclass from to put him in, yet some people think he should be sacked. SMH!”
“Rasmus Hojlund is excellent at what he does. He deserves a lot more respect than he gets,” a seventh claimed.
Another suggested: “Rasmus Hojlund was outstanding today; his hold-up play was really good and that finish was pure class!”
