'We just made history'... Manchester United youngsters celebrate FA Youth Cup win
Manchester United’s young stars are celebrating winning the FA Youth Cup for the 11th time. For these young players, it was the first, and a truly special night.
In front of 67,000 fans at Old Trafford, United beat Nottingham Forest 3-1, with Rhys Bennett and Alejandro Garnacho scoring twice.
These young players may never have it so good again. Probability would certainly say all 11 starters won’t become first team regulars, although some might. Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford both told the players to savour the moment. They each know how tough it can get.
The under-18s stars were excited to toast their success. Rhys Bennett, Marc Jurado and Charlie McNeill were among those to celebrate the FA Youth Cup win on social media.
