Two Manchester United players have been named in the latest BBC Team of the Week, after the team’s 3-0 win over Bournemouth at Old Trafford.
United recorded a third successive Premier League win in a row to solidify a top four spot, now just nine points off the top of the table.
The team has also kept four successive clean sheets in all competitions, even with an all-change centre-back pairing in midweek, and with regular right-back Diogo Dalot sidelined for most of the fixtures.
Two United players in particular have been picked out for praise this past week by pundit Garth Crooks.

Two Manchester United stars named in BBC Team of the Week
United were clinical against Bournemouth and scored three very good goals, the first from open play and the second two slick team moves.
BBC Sport pundit Garth Crooks has named defender Luke Shaw and midfielder Casemiro in his team of the week.
Days prior, after the Wolves game, Crooks selected Shaw and David de Gea, and also picked Marcus Rashford after the win over Nottingham Forest.
Discussing his latest selections, Crooks said: “This is arguably Luke Shaw’s best season at Manchester United. He filled in for Lisandro Martinez at centre-back while he was on World Cup duty for Argentina and was outstanding.”
He went on to describe Shaw as ‘inspirational’ for the way he played upon his return to the left-back position against Bournemouth, adding: “The defender’s goal was Shaw at his best. He started the move deep in his own half and finished it with aplomb.”
Casemiro opened the scoring for United, amid another dominant midfield performance, commenting: “The arrival of Casemiro at Manchester United has been as important as the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.”
The Brazilian was named Manchester United’s man of the match against Bournemouth, narrowly beating Shaw to the fan vote.
There is a break from Premier League action this week when the FA Cup begins. United face Everton at Old Trafford tonight, and then host a Carabao Cup quarter-final versus Charton Athletic on Tuesday night.
