New Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim arrives at the club with a glowing reputation.
Ruben Amorim has exceeded expectations at Sporting since he was hired as a young coach in 2020.
Amorim has become the first Sporting boss to win multiple league titles since 1953, earning a move to Manchester United.
It was not an easy decision for Amorim to leave Sporting mid-season, but Manchester United is his dream job and he starts next week.

Ruben Amorim wins another award
Ruben Amorim is into his final days as Sporting boss and now has just one more match remaining, away at Braga on Sunday.
He led Sporting to a 4-1 win over Manchester City, whetting the appetite of Manchester United fans in the process.
Among Amorim’s final achievements, relates to Sporting’s form for the month of October domestically.
Liga Portugal announced on November 6 that Ruben Amorim has won the manager of the month award for October.
Amorim’s Sporting enjoyed a 100 per cent domestic record during the month, currently sitting first in the league. He won five of five games, with Sporting scoring 14 goals in the process – more league strikes than Manchester United have managed in 10.
It was Amorim’s second manager of the month award of the season, having won it in September too.
Amorim’s award was announced with a tag line, ‘The last one’, referencing his upcoming departure to Manchester United.
Could Ruben Amorim win early award at Manchester United?
Don’t rule out Ruben Amorim getting Manchester United’s form together at some stage and winning a manager of the month award during his first season.
In his first full month? This would be a tough one, considering the task at hand, and Manchester United’s fixtures.
In December, United face Everton (h), Arsenal (a), Nottingham Forest (h), Manchester City (a), Bournemouth (h), Wolves (a), and Newcastle (h).
And there is also a Carabao Cup quarter-final away to Tottenham in the mix too, and a Europa League game away to Plzen.
It is a tricky schedule, and if United can emerge unbeaten, Amorim truly would deserve an award. Yet that is easier said than done.
