Ole Gunnar Solskjaer offered an injury update on Eric Bailly ahead of Manchester United’s trip to face West Brom on Sunday.
In his pre-match press conference, streamed at 1:30pm on the club’s official app, he said that Bailly was back in training.
And speaking to the club’s official website, he confirmed that Bailly is available for selection at the Hawthorns.
Bailly has not played since the 2-1 win at Fulham last month, which has been frustrating as he was beginning to establish himself in the side again.

“We’ve had a rare opportunity to do a bit of training and recovery,” he said to the gathered press. “Eric has been training, which is a boost to us.”
He then went one further in an interview with the club website: “Eric is available.
“He has trained for a couple of days so he’ll be available for selection. Apart from that, no-one else is back.

Perhaps it’s a coincidence that United’s strong form either side of the turn of the year came when Bailly was consistently fit and available.
It’s been frustrating that he couldn’t build on that, especially given his bad injury luck since he’s been at the club.
United’s central defensive pairing is back on the agenda after the way two points were tossed away late on against Everton last weekend.
Perhaps Bailly won’t be thrown back into the fray against the Baggies, but his return is certainly a boost to Solskjaer with European football back on the agenda from Thursday.
