Tyler Dibling is one of many young players that Manchester United have their eyes on heading into the summer transfer window.
Ruben Amorim will want attacking reinforcements to arrive at Old Trafford this summer given that Manchester United are struggling to score goals.
Gary Neville labelled United as ‘robotic’ after their 0-0 draw with Manchester City and it is not the first time that the Red Devils have stuttered in front of goal this season.
A new striker and a new No.10 will be targeted in the summer and Ineos’ transfer strategy has been to target up-and-coming players who can develop into superstars at Old Trafford.
United have shown an interest in Tyler Dibling as he certainly fits the bill.

Tyler Dibling tipped to change position amid Man United interest
One of Alejandro Garnacho’s main issues at United is that he prefers to play out wide, but Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 system thrives when the No.10s drift in-field.
Dibling has starred for Southampton as a winger this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists usually playing off the right.
That could cause some concern for Amorim and Ineos, but former Saints manager Russell Martin believes Tyler Dibling is destined to become a central midfielder.
Speaking to Gary Lineker on The Rest is Football, Martin said: “He’s the most talented player I’ve ever seen – ever worked with. I worked with James Maddison at that age at Norwich, he was outstanding.
“Tyler has every capability to go and play for England and at a top level for a very long time.
“He’s powerful, he’s really quick, both feet, can shoot. I worked with Harry Kane and physically the stuff I’ve seen him do at 18 in the Premier League with people just bouncing off him – he has something I’ve not seen in a British player in a long time.
“He’ll play as a No.8 or a No.10 eventually, but he’s 18 so we played him out wide and he was incredible.
“He can play wide, we played him as a false nine in pre-season and he was our best player.”
How Tyler Dibling could fit in Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United
Martin’s suggestion that Dibling prefers to play centrally will be music to United’s ears.
Technical director Jason Wilcox is a big admirer of Dibling having seen him progress through the ranks at Southampton – he will know his best strengths better than anyone.
Reports claim Southampton want £100m for Dibling, but with the Saints now relegated, United could swoop for a bargain deal. Dibling’s asking price could drop to £55m.
Dibling’s profile suggests he is a perfect fit for the right-sided No.10 position in Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 setup – a position Ineos will be keen to strengthen in the summer.

If Dibling does also transition to a central midfielder in a No.8 role, he could partner with either Kobbie Mainoo or Manuel Ugarte in a double pivot. United have lacked a midfielder capable of driving the ball up field and that is where Dibling thrives.
Dibling’s versatility would be key, with Amorim proving this season that he is not afraid to experiment with players in different positions.
