Ruben Loftus-Cheek impressed by Ederson
AC Milan midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek has explained why United are making ‘a good signing’ in Atalanta star Ederson at £38m.
The England international, formerly of Chelsea, was attending the Monaco Grand Prix as he enjoys some off time away from football.
Loftus-Cheek was in Monaco for the race because he was not selected for the 2026 World Cup, albeit following a campaign plagued by injury problems.
He spoke to Sky Sports News and was asked about Ederson following claims United have an agreement to sign the Atalanta midfielder.
“I think he’ll do just fine,” Loftus-Cheek said.
“The times we’ve played against each other, he’s been very physical. He’s quick, he’s strong, good on the ball, so I’m thinking he’s going to do really well and he’s a good signing.”
These comments will only help build excitement over Ederson as United’s new signing.
Well, once it’s announced and Ederson has put pen to paper.
