Ruben Amorim has now provided a major update regarding four first-team Manchester United players who will miss the Premier League clash against Brentford on Saturday.
The Red Devils have only two Premier League matches remaining before the start of the October break, with Manchester United travelling away on the weekend.
Ruben Amorim watched the Red Devils return to winning ways last Saturday after 10-man United’s 2-1 Premier League win over 10-man Chelsea at Old Trafford.
United survived a late scare against Chelsea in the second half after Trevoh Chalobah scored a close-range header in the 80th minute of the contest.
The Red Devils had dominated the Blues in the first half after Robert Sanchez was sent off, but United suffered a setback after Casemiro was later dismissed.

Casemiro will not feature for Man Utd vs Brentford amid Ruben Amorim’s injury update ahead of the Premier League clash
Casemiro was sent off for two bookable offences against Chelsea and the 33-year-old Brazilian midfielder is now suspended for the Brentford match on Saturday.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, United manager Ruben Amorim also confirmed that Lisandro Martinez still remains sidelined due to injury.
“Licha is out. Casemiro is out because of the red card,” he said, as per the Manchester Evening News.
Noussair Mazraoui was not seen in United’s training session on Thursday and Red Devils prospect Sam Mather was spotted with the United first-team squad instead.
Amorim told the media at the Carrington training complex on Friday afternoon that Noussair Mazraoui is part of the injured absentees alongside Lisandro Martinez.
“He is out also,” he said.
“He will not be back until the international break.”
Ruben Amorim explains why Amad Diallo will not play in the Premier League match against Brentford
Brentford will host United at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon, with a 12:30pm kick-off time slated for the Premier League tie in the UK.
Amorim revealed that he would also be without Amad Diallo for the trip to the Gtech Community Stadium, but the winger will be absent due to personal circumstances.
“Amad is not here because someone in his family passed away,” he said.
“We are giving all the support to Amad and understood he needed to return home.”
United are 11th in the Premier League table after their opening five league matches, while Brentford are 17th and the Bees have only once in the league this season.
