Rasmus Hojlund has revealed his hilarious interactions with Napoli manager Antonio Conte over one subject matter after his Manchester United exit in the summer.
The 22-year-old Danish forward left Old Trafford on deadline day and Napoli completed their stunning acquisition of Rasmus Hojlund before the window closed.
United agreed to loan out Hojlund for the 2025-26 campaign after the Red Devils signed former Newcastle and Arsenal target Benjamin Sesko in August.
Napoli’s deal to sign Hojlund includes an obligation to buy the United striker in a permanent £38m transfer in 2026 if certain conditions are met in the season.
One of the aforementioned requirements in making Hojlund’s move permanent to Napoli includes the Serie A outfit securing Champions League qualification.

Man Utd and Napoli striker Rasmus Hojlund reveals Antonio Conte’s repeated request to him
Rasmus Hojlund has already made three appearances for Napoli since the start of his loan spell and the Denmark striker had an impact on his debut for his new side.
Antonio Conte started Hojlund for Napoli against Fiorentina and the Denmark international netted in the 3-1 away win in the Serie A earlier this month.
Speaking to La Repubblica (via Tuttomercatoweb), the Napoli summer signing admitted that Conte has been keen for him to become more proficient in communicating in Italian during his loan spell.
Hojlund explained that the 56-year-old Italian is “constantly” chasing him up about the aforementioned matter and is “worried” that Hojlund might not understand him.
“He knows I need to improve my Italian, and he asks me constantly, worried about making himself understood,” he said.
“‘Is it clear? Is it clear?,’ are the words he uses most often with me. I always tell him yes, but if I have any doubts, I ask my teammates.”
Man Utd loanee Rasmus Hojlund sends a powerful message about Napoli’s upcoming Serie A clash vs AC Milan
Defending Italian champions Napoli are top of the Serie A table and Conte’s men have won all four of their opening league matches in the 2025-26 campaign.
The reigning Serie A title holders will travel to the San Siro on Sunday for their showdown against AC Milan, with Hojlund highlighting the significance of the match.
“It’s very important: we’ll be facing a really strong team, who seem to be playing well under their new coach,” he said.
“But we’ll go there to try and get the most out of it. Taking to the pitch with the Scudetto on our shirt is a responsibility, as well as a privilege.”
AC Milan are third in the Serie A table and are two points behind league leaders Napoli and only a point behind second-place Juventus ahead of Sunday’s clash.
